The new presenter of TV3’s flagship entertainment show ‘Xposé’ has been unveiled after a seven week reality show, which searched the length and breadth of the country, to find the latest member of the glamorous gang.
28 year-old Sean Munsanje from Dublin will be joining Karen Costner, Glenda Gilson, Lisa Cannon and Aisling Loughlin, to become the first male presenter of TV3’s flagship entertainment show.
With an initial 1,500 applications, last night’s final saw the three remaining contestants battle it out for the coveted six-month contract. Sean beat model Ruth O’Neill and assistant producer Simon Atkins, securing enough of the public vote to win the reality show.
Judges Gerry Lundberg, Michael O’Doherty and Emma Ledden whittled the successful applicants down to the three finalists over a seven week period, during which candidates undertook a variety of presenter-related tasks as well as facing a weekly live elimination show.
With a degree in Media Studies from NUI Maynooth, Sean is no stranger to the small screen having already appeared on RTÉ's TTV doing a weekly music ‘gig guide', and also as presenter of ‘Take Six' on Channel 6.
