Cathal has always had a deep love of animation, photography and art. Seeing his first short film on screen at the Galway Film Festival inspired him to co-found Brown Bag Films in 1994. Eight years later, he was awarded an Oscarģ nomination as director of Give Up Yer Aul Sins. Today, Cathal focuses on the business and production side of the operation. In 2009, he was nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year award in recognition of his achievements at Brown Bag Films. He is also a member of Bafta. Cathalís executive producer credits include: Olivia, Wobblyland, Iím an Animal, Noddy in Toyland, The Octonauts, Doc McStuffins and Henry Hugglemonster.
