Dublin-based production and distribution company Monster Entertainment have returned from the MIP TV event in Cannes with three new deals in its pocket.
Discovery Networks International acquired Monster Entertainment's pre-school animated series' 'I'm a Creepy Crawly', 'I'm a Dinosaur' and 'I'm a Monster' at the networking event held in Cannes on 30 March last. more |

PRODUCTION | John Crowley to Begin Shooting Suspense Thriller

Irish director John Crowley (Boy A) is to begin shooting his as yet untitled international suspense thriller in the UK next week with Ciarán Hinds joining the cast. A co-production from Focus Features and Britain's Working Title Films, the movie will star Eric Bana (Hanna) and Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) in the leading roles.

BROADCAST | Séainín Brennan joins Belfast drama 'The Fall' |
Irish actress Séainín Brennan is the latest name to join the cast of the BBC's Belfast-based TV thriller 'The Fall'. The Belfast actress will star alongside Gillian Anderson (The X Files) and Jamie Dornan (Marie Antoinette) in the psychological thriller which began principal photography in Belfast late last month. It is expected to shoot for up to 11 weeks in total.
