Production is currently underway on a new Irish drama 'Black Ice', shooting on locations in Sligo and Leitrim. Directed by Johnny Gogan, 'Black Ice' is produced by Nicky Gogan and marks the Irish producers' first foray into fictional filmmaking having previously scored hits with feature docs 'Pyjama Girls' and 'Seaview'. more

Irish actress Ruth Negga has been nominated for Best Actress at the RTS Programme Awards. Negga, whose credits include popular Irish drama 'Love/Hate' and Neil Jordan's 'Breakfast on Pluto', is nominated for her performance in the BBC Two drama 'Shirley', which also won her an Irish Film & Television Award for Actress Television at the 2012 IFTAs. more
