CR Entertainment, the Irish production company behind multi-platform series such as 'Aisling's Diary' and 'Beat Generation', has merged with Portuguese producer beActive Producers Interactivas resulting in a new company, entitled beActive International. The group is currently co-producing a feature film entitled 'The Knot' with plans to bring future film projects to Ireland. more |

Entries are now being sought for the Capital Irish Film Festival, the largest Irish film festival in the U.S., which will be held in Washington DC from the 1st to the 10th of December. DEADLINES | IFB Reality Bites Deadline 2011 June 10th |
he Irish Film Board has announced the deadline for submissions for the next round of the Reality Bites as Friday, June 10th. The Reality Bites scheme will provide funding for up to three documentary shorts up to 12 minutes in duration, all of which will premiere at the Corona Cork Film Festival next year. more |
