Michael Fassbender will be reunited with his 'Hunger' director, Steve McQueen in January 2011 when they commence production on the New York set of new project, 'Shame'. The feature film, written by Steve McQueen and Abi Morgan (Royal Wedding) will also c0-star Carey Mulligan (An Education) and James Badge Dale (The Departed) and will shoot in New York for six weeks.

The rock'n'roll gangster romance from Peachy Vision will star Keith McErlean (Goldfish Memory) and rock musician/actor Roy Harper (Made) and will be directed by John Burns (Assistant Director, Once) and Stephen Lourdes.

REP-BODIES | UK Film Council Future Clear on Nov 29th |
UK Culture Minister Ed Vaizey will make a speech on Monday, November 29th where he will announce the government's decision as to the proposed closure of the UK Film Council and the future of British film funding policy. The UK Film Council today published an updated list of projects that are to receive funding from the group, including Irish co-production, 'Grabbers'.
