TV3 Launches Autumn Schedule
TV3 today launched their Autumn Schedule in the Royal College of Physicians in Dublin. The latest schedule, which sees the station aim to broadcast over one third of air time with Irish programming, completes the three year plan to create a new roster of programmes for the Irish channel. more
UK Film Council & British Film Institute to Merge
UK Film Minister Sion Simon has announced plans to merge the UK Film Council and the British Film Institute. A group has been formed to analyse how a single body could be structured and governed and how such a move would improve its service to the film industry in the long term more
Another Irish Title For Toronto, 'Cairo Time' World Premiere
The David Collins' produced 'Cairo Time' has joined the strong Irish line up to be world premiered at the Toronto Film Festival next month. The Irish/Canadian co-production, which is directed by Ruba Nadda, will be screening in the Special Presentations category. more
'Pyjama Girls' Observational Doc. Currently in Production
'Pyjama Girls', an observational documentary that takes a close look at the lives of a group of teenage girls living in Dublin's Inner City who spend most of their time in pyjamas, is currently in production in the country's capital. more

Dingle Film Festival Line Up Announced
The 3rd Dingle Film Festival has announced their line up for this year's festival which is scheduled to take place September 10-13 2009.
