'Five Minutes of Heaven' Double Win at Sundance
The Northern Irish shot feature 'Five Minutes of Heaven' has picked up two awards at the 25th Sundance Film Festival in Utah. The BBC/Big Fish Films/Ruby Films production, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, won the World Cinema Directing Award: Dramatic while writer Guy Hibbert (Omagh) won the World Cinema Screenwriting Award. more
JDIFF Announce 2009 Programme
The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival has announced the line up for this year's festival. Titles to screen include the Oscar nominated 'Doubt' as well as a variety of Irish features including 'Dorothy Mills', 'The Daisy Chain' and the recent winner at Sundance 'Five Minutes of Heaven'. more
Farrell To Star In ' London Boulevard'
Colin Farrell (In Bruges) will join Keira Knightley (The Duchess) to star in the crime drama 'London Boulevard' to be helmed by 'The Departed' writer William Monahan. The film is an adaptation of the book by Irish author Ken Bruen. more

Irish actor Pierce Brosnan (Mamma Mia!) is to star in Roman Polanski's contemporary thriller 'The Ghost', alongside Ewan McGregor (The Island), Olivia Williams (Flashbacks of a Fool), Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City) and Tom Wilkinson (Michael Clayton). The film is to begin shooting in Berlin on February 4th. more
