My Hands, directed by Irish filmmaker Eoin Heaney has been announced among the Berlinale Co-Production Market’s selection of feature-film projects being unveiled at the market. Screaming Girl from Ukrainian filmmaker Antonio Lukich, supported by Screen Ireland, has also been selected.
The Berlinale Co-Production Market is a five-day event bringing together 600 select international producers, sales agents, distributors as well as broadcasting and funding representatives who are actively working in international co-productions. New feature and drama series projects are presented and have the opportunity to find co-production and financing partners.
Among the 34 new feature-film projects from 27 different countries selected for the market, is My Hands directed by Irish filmmaker Eoin Heaney and produced by Feline Films Limited. Heaney has directed shorts such as Spirit Level starring Toni O’Rourke (God’s Creatures), which won the Best Experimental Film award at the Tokyo International Film Festival in 2022, and Darkroom starring Seána Kerslake (The Hole in the Ground).
Producers Feline Films Limited are a Dublin based Production Company run by Nathalie Biancheri and Jessie Fisk. Their most recent productions include Wolf starring George MacKay (1917) and Lily-Rose Depp (Nosferatu), and Shadows starring Lola Petticrew (Dating Amber).
Ukrainian filmmaker Antonio Lukich’s Screaming Girl has also been selected for the market. My Hands and Screaming Girl are both supported by Screen Ireland.
The 21st Berlinale Co-Production Market will take place February 17th - 21st, 2024.
