Griffith College Dublin have partnered with Windmill Lane Academy (formerly Pulse Studios) to announce details of their Certificate In Music Production For Games course.
The one-year programme will prepare learners for entry into the industry, which is experiencing rapid growth in Ireland.
The course will combine academic training at Griffith College, as well as hands-on experience at Windmill Lane, and is open to learners from a variety of musical backgrounds.
The programme features production skills, recording techniques, composing techniques, sequencing, sampling and sound processing. As part of the programme, learners will be prepared for professional industry certification from Digidesign ProTools and Logic. Such accreditation is currently recognised as a pre-requisite for employment within the industry.
