Dublin International Film Festival - Development and Marketing Manager
SALARY: €45,000
LOCATION: Flexible mix of working in Dublin office and working remotely
CONTRACT: Full-time, permanent role – subject to meeting annual targets.
BACKGROUND:
Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland’s premier film event and has built a formidable reputation for delivering the very best in international film and film talent to Irish and International audiences each year.
The festival is now seeking a Development and Marketing Manager to lead fundraising and brand awareness.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Managing Director and the Board, the Development and Marketing Manager will set the development and fundraising agenda for the Festival and lead all fundraising efforts with a specific focus corporate and major donor engagement.
The core function of this role is to generate income for DIFF; therefore, it is essential that the successful candidate has previous fundraising experience. The Development and Marketing Manager will use their skills and experience to expand DIFF’s fundraising through the implementation of a 3-year fundraising plan. As well as possessing excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in the practical side of fundraising: researching key prospects; securing introductions; developing and delivering compelling pitches; working with and influencing individuals at senior levels; and building and fostering long-term relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about film, and ideally you will have knowledge of the cultural space within which the festival operates.
