Tá Big Mountain Productions ag iarraidh ceannasaí chláir Ghaeilge a earcú le hobair thar réimse leathan de chláir.
Is léiritheoirí bisiúla cláir Ghaeilge é Big Mountain Productions. I 2012, soláthróimid aschur de thuilleadh agus 16 uair an chloig, do BBC TÉ agus TG4.
Ar na teidil atá ann tá Imeall Geal, Athair agus Mac, Opry an Iúir agus Dul I bhFiáin.
Táimid ag lorg Ceannasaí Clár le hAonad na Gaeilge a bhainistiú.
Ba mhaith linn go mór scéala a fháil ó léiritheoirí sraithe bunaithe, a bhfuil taithí acu ar léiriúchán siamsaíocht faisnéise, cláir faisnéise nó cúrsaí reatha. Ba mhaith linn go mór léiritheoir sraithe a bhfuil taithí aige/aici ar léiriúchán stiúideo nó craoladh seachtrach. Bheadh cumas féinscannánaíochta ina bhuntáiste ar leith.
Déanfaidh an t-iarratasóir a n-éiríonn leis/léi gach gné den aonad Gaeilge a bhainistiú.
Beidh freagracht air/uirthi as bainistiú an phróisis forbartha, ar a n-áireofar túsú smaointe le haghaidh sraitheanna nó cláir aonuaire, moltaí scríbhneoireachta, iad a dhíol le craoltóirí agus maoirseacht a dhéanamh ar iarratais d’eagrais maoinithe, an CCG agus BAI san áireamh.
Beidh air/uirthi ról an léiritheora sraithe a chomhlíonadh thar réimse leathan d’aschur coimisiúnaithe. Ar na dualgais a bheidh air/uirthi beidh earcú agus bainistiú na bhfoirne léiriúcháin, aisteoirí agus na dtaibheoirí. Beidh sé/sí freagrach as bainistiú an phróisis léirithe ón taighde tosaigh agus roghnú aisteoirí go dtí scannánaíocht, maoirseacht na heagarthóireachta agus cur ar fáil.
Ag obair go dlúth leis an Cheannasaí Léiriúcháin, déanfaidh sé/sí cinnte de go ndéantar na buiséid a bhainistiú go héifeachtach agus déanfaidh sé/sí an dea-chleachtas oibre is fearr a aithint agus a spreagadh.
Beidh sé/sí freagrach as forbairt agus bainistiú na foirne atá ag obair san Aonad Gaeilge, daoine faoi oiliúint san áireamh.
Ba chóir go mbeadh Gaeilge shármhaith aige/aici, idir scríofa agus labhartha, agus ba chóir dó/di suim mhór a bheith aige/aici i bpobal na Gaeilge sa lá inniu, mar aon le teagmhálaithe maithe leis.

HEAD OF IRISHLANGUAGE PROGRAMMES
Big Mountain Productions are looking to recruit a head of Irish language programmes to work across a widerange of programming.
Big Mountain Productions areprolific producers of Irish language programming.
In 2012, we will deliver inexcess of 16 hours of output, for BBC NI and TG4.
Titles include Imeall Geal,Athar agus Mac, Opry an Iúir,and Dul i bhFiáín.
We are looking for a Head of Programmes to manage the Irish language unit.
We are keen to hear from established series producers, with experience of factual entertainment,documentary or current affairs production. We are especially keen to recruit anSP who has experience in studio production and OB’s.The ability to self-shoot would be a distinct advantage.
The successful applicant will manage all elements of the Irish language unit.
They will be responsible for the management of the development process which shall include the origination of ideas for series and one-offs, writing proposals, pitching to broadcasters and overseeing applications to funding bodies including the ILBF and BAI.They will be required to fulfil the role of series producer across a wide range of commissioned output. Duties will include the recruitment and management of the production teams, artists and talent. They will be responsible for the management of the production process from initial research and casting through to filming, scripting, overseeing of the edit and final delivery.
Working closely with the Head of Production, they will ensure that budgets are managed effectively and they will identify and encourage best working practice.
They will be responsible for the development and management of staff working in the Irish language unit, including trainees.
They must have an excellent command of the Irish language, both written and verbal and should have a keen interest in and excellent connections within the contemporary Irish language speaking community.
