access CINEMA is the resource organisation for regional cultural cinema exhibition in Ireland and is funded by the Arts Council. We work with a network of film societies, arts centres and arts festivals to develop cultural cinema locally. access CINEMA currently has over 75 member groups screening on either 35mm, D-CINEMA or DVD formats.

access CINEMA’s role is to support local programmers with advice and expertise as well as providing our core service, the booking and dispatch of films. access CINEMA has experienced strong growth in membership and audience numbers in recent years. We expect further growth and development in our activities in the future.

access CINEMA wishes to appoint a DVD Programme Co-ordinator on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract beginning in June 2012. This is a key position in the organisation and the person appointed will play a significant role in supporting what we do.
