Brown Bag Films are looking to employ the role of an Audio Dubbing mixer for several upcoming animation TV series for international clients Disney ,CBeebies and Nick Jr.
Job Description
• Mix content in 5.1 surround/stereo for major networks
• Deliver and output to 5.1/stereo broadcast specs for major networks
• Provide original and exciting sound design for animated content
• Sound editing to picture
• Liaise with overseas and external producers over audio matters from approvals to queries
• Liaise with composers over mix related music revisions/issues etc
• Develop a show’s signature sound, working with directors, producers & sound editors to achieve these themes
• Hold client-attended mix sessions
• Record and edit dialog for broadcast when needed
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in the audio field, some animation work preferable.
• Must have full working knowledge of Pro Tools HD and mixing for 5.1 surround sound
• Experience working in a team environment, providing and receiving feedback to and from clients, suppliers and production.
• Experience of delivering high quality audio to tight deadlines on an ongoing basis.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Good organisational skills
Start Date: June 2012
Duration: 1 Year contract initially
