IFTN is currently seeking an Online Journalist. Immediate start.
The selected candidate will generate editorial on the IFTN website - including writing news articles, feature interviews, location reports and industry features – and the regular update of the content on IFTN. Candidates should show some knowledge and understanding the Film and Television industry.
Applicants should have:
- A third level qualification in Journalism / Media Studies (or substantial experience in journalism is required)
- At least one year experience in writing for an online OR print publication
- Ability to construct, follow and deliver breaking news stories
- A fine attention to accuracy and detail
- Superb organisational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of the Irish film and television industry a distinct advantage
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
