Are you eager to get ahead with a strong work ethic and work well as a team player?
Do you have experience as a seasoned journalist with integrity and a proven track record in celebrity/showbiz/ fashion journalism?

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Gathering entertainment and celebrity news from across the globe with a particular interest in Irish Celebrity culture
• Writing accurate and balanced articles for internet and print publication;
• Obtaining images and pictures to accompany articles when necessary;
• Representing the publication at launches and other entertainment events.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Proven track record in entertainment/showbiz/celebrity journalism;Or at least display a keen interest in using alternative avenues to seek out local celebrity scoops
• Relevant qualification/ experience in journalism;
• Able to work well in a team, under pressure, and meet strict deadlines;
• An extensive contact base in the TV, music, arts and entertainment industries;
• een news sense and ability to initiate story ideas;
• Good command of written English;
• Have a positive and fun outlook on working life 
• Proven ability to write copy that is accurate, legally sound and exciting;
