The Irish Film & Television Network (IFTN) is currently seeking an Intern Journalist. IFTN is the gateway to Ireland’s only independent agency providing information about the Irish film and television industry to the world at large. This will be a great opportunity for a journalism graduate to apply their skills and gain some valuable experience in a busy working environment.

Responsibilities will include;

• Carrying out daily research and updating content for IFTN website

• Researching and writing daily news stories for IFTN

• Scheduling and conducting face-to-face/ phone interviews

• Assisting in dissemination and research for the weekly online newsletter

The ideal candidate will be;

• A Graduate with a Journalism/Media Studies Degree

• Proficient in Word & Excel with strong typing, researching & writing skills

• Confident communicator with ability to work to own initiative

• Knowledgeable and interested in the film and television industry in Ireland

• Some previously gained office based experience is desirable
