About CR Entertainment
London and Dublin-based CR Entertainment was set up by award-winning producer Triona Campbell in 2008 as a multi-platform production company which aggregates and distributes innovative content across TV, internet, mobile and traditional media. The company is best-known for its teen drama, Sofia’s Diary for Sony Pictures and Television International and Bebo, a series distributed simultaneously on the internet, mobile phones, TV, magazines, radio and printed media. Localised in over 10 territories around the world, the London series was fully financed and supported by advertisers and the first UK internet drama to crossover to TV.
With co-production arrangements in the UK, Portugal, Canada and Brazil, a global network of international partners and strong track record in producing branded cross-media content, CR Entertainment is one of the few companies that is able to implement a global branded content campaign with localised productions for each country. CR Entertainment works with broadcasting and media companies as well as advertising and media agencies to create branded content through its Sponsored Entertainment division.
The company was set up as an extension of Campbell Ryan Productions, which was established in 2001 to produce feature film, The Crooked Mile. The company has also produced TV shows for local national broadcasters including TV3 Ireland and RTE and has licensed programming to ARTE France, YLE Finland and SBS Australia.
