The Celtic Media Festival took place in Galway from the 16 - 20 April 2008. Celebrating excellence in broadcasting and film talent from the Celtic countries Ireland, Scotland, Cornwall, Wales and Brittany, the festival welcomed guests including Stephen Rea, Jimmy McGovern and Philip Edgar Jones. The Bronze Torc awards were presented by RTÉ's Mary Kennedy and TG4’s Daithi O Sé.
