The Irish Film and Television Academy hosted a special breakfast event with The Minister for Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan in the National Concert Hall on June 22nd.
The Minister addressed the guests with a talk on the future of the Irish Film and Television Industry and afterwards the IFTA guests had an opportunity to meet and discuss topics with the Minister.
A cross section of IFTA Academy Members from various chapters of dicipline were in attendance including Director Jim Sheridan (In America), Costume Designer Joan Bergin (The Tudors) and Producer Morgan Bushe (The Runway); alongside other guests such as Babara Galavan from Screen Producers Ireland, Micheal O'Keefe Chief Executive of The BAI and James Hickey Chief Executive of the Irish Film Board.
