Hot Docs: Fine Point launches €500k Silver Fund with Toronto Based Fadoo Productions
05 May 2016 | News from Hot Docs in Toronto where Northern Ireland production company Fine Point Films has teamed up with Toronto based Fadoo Productions in a new development initiative called ‘The Silver Fund’ which has the potential to invest up to (US) $500,000 (£345,000) over two years in documentaries, with up to (US) $50,000 (£35,000) available per project.

Section 481: Tax Credit cap increase to €70m approved by state and will come into effect on May 1st
27 Apr 2016 | The increase in the film tax credit cap announced last October as part of Budget 2016 will come into effect on May 1st 2016. From this date, the eligible expenditure per project increases from €50m to €70m.
