In English, this translates as For Love and Money and was filmed in both languages. It centres on the fantasies of an office worker who has had his engagement ring returned to him by his fiancée because he has not saved enough money for the wedding and a new home. After a number of Walter Mitty type dream sequences where he wins a lot of money and rescues an heiress, a year has passed and he can announce to his fiancée that he has saved enough money. Delighted she tells him that she too has been saving and the film ends with a happy couple standing outside their first home.
