A haunting moment of magic from Peggy's childhood comes flooding back as she takes her own children to visit Celtworld in Tramore. The past and future fade away as we are drawn into the now of this enchantment.
The young Peggy finds a strange earring and is lured from the strand by gypsy music on the Prom. She becomes captivated with the colour and the excitement of these gypsies. When she pleads to join them, Ramona the gypsy dancer enlists her help. Delightedly, young Peggy runs along the strand collecting money for the gypsy dancers. However when she approaches a startled neighbour who has been dozing in the sun, the spell is broken. As young Peggy is removed from the strand she looks back longingly at the colourful group of exciting gypsy dancers.
Peggy comes out of Celtworld with her own children. On the strand she sees something else that evokes the charm of that magic moment from her own childhood and we are left in the stillness of that magic.
