23rd - 25th April 2014 (3 Days)	Filmbase - After Effects 101: Intro to After Effects CS6 Go » In this Adobe Authorised Training, students will learn the key techniques for working in After Effects and how to work efficiently and deliver in the widest possible range of media types. In addition to learning the key elements of the After Effects interface, topics that will be covered include animating text, working with shape layers and masks, the puppet tool, color correction, 3D objects, advanced editing techniques as well as rendering and output. Each student will receive the official Adobe After Effects course manual and an Adobe certificate of completion. 29th April 2014	Developing Original Formats for Television (Screen Training Ireland) Go » This seminar is aimed producers focusing on the development of original Formats for Television, across all genres. The seminar will explore the following topics: Ideation How to generate good ideas that could become TV formats. Ideation looks at the psychology of creativity, offers a variety of techniques to apply that creativity to the generation of relevant TV-oriented ideas, and applies different narratives to those ideas to tell a story in different ways. Turning Ideas into Formats How to take good ideas and turn them into great formats. We explore and apply a unique system developed by The Format People to focus and clarify the heart of an idea, and develop it into a practical working format with potential international appeal.
