This year marks the fifth iteration of Docs Ireland. The festival will present new and international documentaries, shorts and features, and will host industry events including a marketplace, pitching sessions, masterclasses, new talent focus and funding information events.

Galway Film Fleadh is a week-long international film festival taking place every July on the western edge of Europe in Galway, Ireland. Founded in 1989 as a platform for Irish filmmakers to exhibit their work to their peers, the central goal of the Galway Film Fleadh remains unchanged: to be a platform for the boldest new films, and to bring audiences & filmmakers from around the world together, to celebrate our shared passion for film.

July 31st - August 4th, 2025 GAZE International LGBT Film Festival

Since its foundation 30 years ago. GAZE has been creating spaces for the LGBTQ+ community to come together to celebrate queer cinema, share common cultural experiences, and to see their stories represented on the big screen. GAZE has been a platform for emerging and established LGBTQ+ filmmakers to showcase their work, as well as advocate for deeper understanding of the breadth and complexity of LGBTQ+ communities.

August 8th - 10th, 2025 Boyne Valley International Film Festival

The Boyne Valley International Film Festival is set against the beautiful backdrop of the Boyne Valley, in the medieval town of Drogheda. The festival is produced by Droichead Arts Centre in partnership with LOVE Drogheda BIDS and is curated by acclaimed filmmaker and Boyne Valley native Frank W. Kelly and Collette Farrell, Droichead Arts Centre Director. This three day event features the best short films from around the country, and the world and has a special focus on films made in the region.

This is the 23rd year of Clones Film Festival, known as "Ireland's Biggest Little Film Festival". Each year the festival offers a programme featuring new Irish & international cinema releases, interviews, documentaries, animations, short film competitions, children's films and a live music festival club.
