The third series of the Irish movie show returns with exclusive interviews, movie news, reviews and all the happenings in world and Irish cinema.
In the first episode of the new series, host Lisa Cannon chats with Hollywood legend Jamie Lee Curtis, who is returning as Laurie Strode in the latest instalment of the horror franchise ‘Halloween’. Curtis returns to the iconic role 40 years after appearing in the original film.
Episode one of the latest series will also see Irish stars Sarah Greene (‘Penny Dreadful’, ‘Noble’) and Moe Dunford (‘Vikings’, ‘Patrick’s Day’) discuss their new film ‘Rosie’, written by Irish author Roddy Doyle and directed by Paddy Breathanach (‘Viva’). A sobering portrayal of the Irish housing crisis currently taking place in the country, ‘Rosie’ tells the story of a mother trying to protect her family after their landlord sells their rented home and they become homeless.
In addition to both interviews viewers will also find out what the Box Office team thought of this week’s new cinema releases Halloween and Goosebumps 2.
Speaking about returning for the newest season of ‘Box Office’, host Lisa Cannon said:
“I am absolutely thrilled to be back with season 3 of Box office. It’s so important to have a film show in Ireland especially as we are a ‘film loving nation. It’s been a pleasure to be able to bring exclusive interviews, red carpet moments, reviews and features to our viewers and I look forward to delivering even more for season three.”
Season three of box office airs on Virgin Media Two at 9pm on Friday, 19th October.
