The division of opinion on how Ireland’s annual $35million in aid to Uganda is dispensed is the focus of this Nuacht documentary on TG4. The programme travels to Uganda to see what’s happening on the ground in the country where Ireland is the fourth largest aid donor. Like most countries on the continent, Uganda has a poor record in relation to corruption, and questions have been raised about it’s involvement in it’s neighbour, DR Congo.
