Animated film ‘Two By Two’ will be released to Irish cinemas on May 1 with two of the lead actors being voiced by young actors from the MVW (Maureen V Ward) Talent Agency in Clondalkin.
10 year old Callum Maloney, from Tallaght, plays the lead role of ‘Finny’ while 15 year old Ava Connolly from Blessington voices Leah.
Both attend classes at Talented Kids Performing Arts School and MVW Talent Agency in Dublin.
Despite his young age, Callum is no stranger to stage and screen, with leading roles in feature films ‘Stitches’ and ‘The Hideaways’ as well as leading voice roles in ‘Otto the Rhino’ and ‘The Magic Reindeer’. Callum's younger sister Layla Grace Deegan also has a part in the animated film voicing ‘The Baby’.
Ava, 15, is also no stranger to stage and screen, having been recently featured in the Toyota TV Commercial and Print Campaign. She is also representing Ireland in July 2015 at the World Championships Of Performing Arts(the Talent Olympics held in Hollywood), where she will compete against 40 other countries' best talent in acting, singing, dancing and modelling.
Callum, Ava, Layla- Grace, their agent Maureen V Ward and their families, were all invited to the premiere screening at the Savoy Cinema in O Connell Street. The feature length animation made in Ireland has received rave reviews and will open in UK and Ireland on 1st May 2015.
