The upcoming title from writer/director Robert D. Kryzkowski will see Turner play American soldier Cavin Barr, who sneaks behind enemy lines in a bid to assassinate Hitler during World War II.
The soldier who must leave the woman he loves to take on the mission, is played in later life by Sam Elliot (The Hero), who is now taking on the task of killing the legendary Bigfoot.
‘The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot’ is set to be executive produced by John Sayles, with Kryzkowski also producing alongside Shaked Berenson, Patrick Ewald and Lucky McKee. The title will enter production in the US this August.
In addition to the latest series of ‘Poldark’, Turner’s recent work includes big screen titles ‘Look Away’ (Monty Whitebloom), currently in post production and ‘Loving Vincent’, (Dorota Kobiela, Hugh Welchman) which hits Irish cinemas later this year.
