Ronan Hill has been awarded a second Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a comedy or Drama (one hour) for his work as production sound mixer on Game of Thrones season 5 "Hardhome".
Ronan has received four consecutive Emmy nominations for the show and previously won the award for season 2 "Blackwater".
In an acceptance speech at the event in the Microsoft Theatre, Downtown Los Angeles, Hill thanked his team Simon Kerr, Jonny Waite and Daniel McCabe.
Talking to IFTN after the awards Ronan said: “This is a great achievement for everyone involved in the show and a reflection of talent and professionalism of both the local and international crew."
Northern Ireland's Carla Stronge also won her first Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series for her casting of 'Game of Thrones'.
