Subotica’s latest project has started shooting. The new feature, the working title of which is ‘The Last Word’ has started production in the UK and stars Ewan McGregor (‘Moulin Rouge!’, ‘Cassandra’s Dream’).

The film, directed by David Mackenzie (‘Young Adam’), tells the tale of a pair of lovers who fatefully meet just as the world begins to fall apart. The Irish producer of the project is Tristan Orpen Lynch and the UK producer is Gillian Berrie. ‘The Last Word’ is written by Kim Fupz Aakenson.

The project is being partially funded by the Irish Film Board and the post production work will be carried out in Ireland.
