11 Dec 2007 :
Deis Roc
The Irish Language Broadcast Fund (ILBF) has announced its funding deadlines for 2008 as: 8th February 2008, 30th May 2008 and 26th September 2008.

The ILBF, established in 2004, aims to develop and support Irish language film and television in Northern Ireland. The ILBF will normally require a minimum of 60% of the spoken word within any funded project to be in Irish. All projects funded by the ILBF must be subtitled in English.

Applicants to the ILBF must be registered independent companies with a permanent agency in Northern Ireland, though the ILBF does not demand that specific production activities are undertaken within Northern Ireland.

Previous projects funded by the ILFB include ‘Imeacht na nIarlai’, ‘An Stuif Ceart’, ‘Deis Roc’ and children’s programme ‘Na Dodaí’.

Application forms and further info can be found at www.northernirelandscreen.co.uk.

Applications forms can be sent to ainew@northernirelandscreen.co.uk or
