UTV Ireland announces Dublin Headquarters
03 Jul 2014 | UTV Ireland today signed a contract with Brehon Capital Partners to secure the entire ground floor of Macken House, Dublin 1, which will be transformed into the new channel’s broadcast centre. UTV Media plc has a strong existing presence at Macken House, with FM104 located on the first floor and Q102, UTV Radio Solutions and UTV Sales based on the second floor of the building.

‘Féilte - Slí an Atlantaigh’ TX TG4 20.30 Tonight
03 Jul 2014 | A brand new TV series called ‘Féilte Slí an Atlantaigh’ airs on TG4 tonight. The series takes the viewer to the Wild Atlantic Way, starting its summer journey in Donegal. Síle Ní Bhraonáin presents the programme, which features sea-kayaking, traditional music and dance, local food and the breath-taking scenery that spans seven of Ireland’s counties.

Broadcasting Authority to Launch Public Consultation on Revised Draft Code of Programme Standards
27 Jun 2014 | The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) will launch a public consultation on proposals for a revised draft Code of Programme Standards that will apply to all Irish broadcasters on Tuesday, 1st July at BAI offices, 2-4 Warrington Place, Dublin 2. A media briefing on the draft code will take place at 10am, and it will be delivered by the Chair of the BAI, Bob Collins and the Chief Executive, Michael O’Keeffe.

Cast Added to Season 3 of ‘Vikings’
19 Jun 2014 | Following the announcement of Ben Robson joining ‘Vikings’, more additions have since been made to the cast for the latest season of the hit History Channel series. ‘Vikings’ follows the adventures of the warrior Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel). The upcoming third season will, like its preceding seasons, be shot in Co. Wicklow with production in Luggala and Ashford Studios. Filming is currently underway.
