€75M Guiding Price on 9 acres of RTÉ Montrose Campus

The national broadcaster has occupied the land since 1961 but with the rezoning of the Montrose land four years ago to Z12, housing is now a permissible use. It is believed this decision has prompted the sale, due to significantly increased development values.

Director General Dee Forbes Confirms 10 of RTÉ Jobs to lost due to Restructuring

As reported earlier today, the national broadcaster confirmed almost 9 acres of land has gone on sale for €75M in the form of Project Montrose. Following this, Forbes addressed staff this morning to discuss the implications of this and further restructuring.
