BAI and CMF Reopen Funding Incentive
The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) and the Canada Media Fund (CMF) announced the reopening of their funding incentive for the development of audiovisual projects. A total of €150,000 will be made available to support Canadian and Irish producers to develop co-productions for broadcast on Canadian and Irish television services.

RTÉ Regional & Wildlife, Call For New Ideas
RTÉ Regional & Wildlife have a new call for commissioning ideas across RTÉ one and RTÉ2. Key to the commissioning team's strategy is the identification of new ideas, the working-up of proposals with producers and, often, the funding of development. If proposals are more suited to the other areas, they'll be directed there.

BAFTA Updates Eligibility Rules For TV Awards
BAFTA have announced a couple of changes to the way it considers TV shows to reflect today's trend towards co- productions. They published updated rules and guidelines for the TV and TV craft awards next year, with a refinement of eligibility in line with the changing landscape of funding and co-productions.

Foyle Film Festival Announce 2016 Programme
The Oscar affiliated festival is set to kick off on Wednesday, November 16th with four days of events, standout premieres, international and home-grown titles scheduled. Among the premieres are Amma Asante's 'A United Kingdom', starring 'Gone Girl' actress Rosamund Pike, which marks its first screening in Northern Ireland.

Trailer released for Irish Documentary 'Crash and Burn'
The highly anticipated title directed by Seán Ó Cualáin will be released by Wildcard Distribution to Irish cinemas on Friday, December 2nd.
The project examines the thrilling career of Irish driver Tommy Byrne, hailing from Dundalk. 'Crash and Burn is produced by David Burke and was partly funded by the Irish Film Board, RTÉ and BBC NI.

Dub Web Fest Opening Night Line-Up: Friday November 18th
The second annual festival will run from November 18th-20th with its opening night featuring an actors panel, screenings, and with special guests Eddie Jackson (Game of Thrones) and Aoibheann McCaul (Fair City) in attendance. Dub Web Fest is dedicated to showcasing web series and original digital content and opens with a free drinks reception at 6pm in Filmbase, Templebar.

Bridget & Eamon Are Back, Monday 9.30pm RTÉ 2
The comic '80s unhappily married Irish duo, return to RTÉ2 on Monday the 14th November at 9.30pm.
Following the strong ratings performance of their first season and winning Best Comedy at the IFTA Gala Television Awards last month. It's no surprise to see the eighties couple back on our screen for round two.
