‘The Lobster’ nominated for EFA People's Choice Award
The feature directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and starring Colin Farrell is nominated alongside titles such as 'The Danish Girl' and 'Spectre.'
The EFA allows film fans to elect their favourite films each year for nomination. Voting is now currently open for the award, which sheds a spotlight on the people films are made for: the audience.

TG4 launches its Autumn Schedule
The upcoming season for TG4 features a range of music, sport, documentary and film content as it also prepares to celebrate its 20th year.
Highlights of the upcoming schedule include new four-part Irish language comedy 'Fir Bolg', written by Brian Reddin, described at the launch as 'Spinal Tap' with a bodhrán.

TV3 launches Autumn Schedule at the National Concert Hall
The new schedule has been designed in conjunction with TV3's ambitious plans for growth in the coming seasons, including both new and familiar talent.
Irish versions of some major international formats are also visible, as is a new landmark current affairs programme on Wednesday nights, with Pat Kenny and Colette Fitzpatrick.

IFTA launches new TG4 series ‘Fir Bolg’
The Irish Film & Television Academy's launch of the new TG4 comedy series celebrated a wealth of Irish talent, from acting to musical performances, while promoting Irish language content. The Members Screening and Q&A with cast and crew was followed by live musical performances at The Sugar Club Dublin.
