Two Northern Irish Shorts make it to Academy Award Shortlist

After 141 films were submitted this year for the live-action short film Academy Award, ten live-shorts have been selected for consideration for the Oscar. The shortlist was chosen by the Academy’s short films and feature animation branch reviewing committee. Branch members will now select three to five nominees from among the 10 titles on the shortlist

Zodiak Rights and Stirling Television sign first-look agreement

Zodiak Rights, the international division of Zodiak Media, and Northern Ireland producer Stirling Television have signed an all-genre first-look deal agreement. Zodiak Rights already represent Stirling’s Irish dancing series ‘Jigs & Wigs’ (BBC One Northern Ireland/RTE, 6 x 30’).
