An Bronntanas Begins Theatrical Run in Clifden
After an intensive and competitive assessment process, the Irish Film Board has announced that nine teams have been shortlisted, to go through to the next interview stage of the Catalyst Project. The final goal will see the winning team receive funding and mentorship to produce a feature film.

A Nightingale Falling' to get IMC Nationwide Release
Irish drama 'A Nightingale Falling', set during the War of Independence will be released to cinemas nationwide on September 12th. The film, directed by Garret Daly and Martina McGlynn which stars Tara Breathnach and Gerard McCarthy will also receive a homecoming premiere at the IMC Tullamore on September 4th with cast & crew present.

Three Irish Composers up for World Soundtrack Awards
The World Soundtrack Award honours a soundtrack or even a lifework. The awards are distributed annually to mark and celebrate outstanding achievements in scoring music for motion pictures, and to honour other achievements as provided for in the rules and approved by the advisory board of the organizing body, the World Soundtrack Academy.
