‘What Richard Did’ & ‘Love/Hate’ dominated the IFTA Awards last Saturday night, picking up 11 awards between them.

Irish-produced feature ‘Young Ones’ has begun principal photography in South Africa, marking one of the first co-productions between Ireland and South Africa since the co-production treaty was signed last May.

The five-part thriller is centred around a rescue team in Connemara.

Production on season four of ‘Love/Hate’ begins in April.

Patrick O’Neill is running the company, in association with Fastnet Films.

Irish feature film ‘Beat Girl’ is moving to North America, as multimedia studio Electus acquires the format rights to the multiplatform project.

DRG has acquired TV3 drama ‘Deception’.

It’s ‘X Factor’ meets traditional music as TG4 announces its latest format ‘Scór Encore’ will premiere this month.
