Magnolia Takes Rights for ‘The Eclipse’

Piranha Bar ‘Designs for Life’

‘Boys of St Columb’s’ Doc Finishes Post
30 Apr 2009 | New feature length documentary, ‘The Boys of St Columb’s’, directed by Tom Collins (Kings) finishes editing this week. The film, which follows the return of remarkable group of boys who went to the school in Derry, is scheduled to screen at summer festivals as well as broadcasting on BBC on 15th August and then on RTÉ in October 5th.

Section 481 Cap Increases to €50 million
23 Mar 2009 | Amendments to the Irish film taxation, Section 481, have been approved following the signing of a Commencement Order by Irish Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan. Proposed in the Finance Act 2008 and the Finance (No2) Act 2008, the Commencement Orders were issued after approval had been obtained for the amendments from the European Commission.
