« Go back
Provocative television drama which questions urban renewal and change in Ireland. Irelands' traditional image of itself is inverted.

Billy Murray inherits an antique shop, a profession which is unfortunately in decline. He has Packy, a northerner with a rather spurious past, working there along with Maria a family friend. Packy and Maria become an item despite Maria's discovery that Packy has been in prison.

On the golf course, Billy encounters his friend, Jim a property developer who envisages turning the shop into a late night convenience store. Packy finds the change too much and experiences conflict between his past, his relationship with Maria and the new shop.
