IADT to run Special Purpose Award in Radio Production at National Film School

The Institute of Art, Design and Technology will run a Special Purpose Award in Radio Production in The National Film School at IADT’s campus in Dun Laoghaire. The course will begin on October 1st 2014 and will run until December 6th 2014.
The part-time evening and weekend is described as an “intensive, practical 10 week course focused on the disciplines of radio production with radio studios and industry standard equipment and software.” Students will learn the detailed techniques and skills required to develop programme content as well as presenting broadcast material, including research, planning and conducting radio interviews, constructing programme schedules and running orders, operating digital transmission desks and producing and presenting programmes in current affairs, arts and entertainment. The course fee is €750 and interested parties can apply by downloading an application form from the IADT website www.iadt.ie or can email admissions@iadt.ie for more information. The closing date for applications is August 29th 2014.
