Ahead of the IFI Documentary Festival 2018, which begins next week and runs from Wednesday, September 26th – Sunday, September 30th, Screen Producers Ireland & the Irish Film Institute have come together to host a special panel discussion on the state of documentary production in Ireland today.
The panel discussion will take place at 12 pm at the IFI, on Friday, September 2018.
As audiences change and publishers look for the next big hit, Irish and international speakers will discuss the challenges and successes they have experienced in getting documentaries made.
These include:
- the types of content that receive funding;
- who is commissioning and distributing content;
- the impact this has will be forefront in the discussion.
