FIN Partners, one of the world’s most established co-production/co-financing markets, has announced the line-up of producers and delegates from the spotlight regions of the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the USA.

Taking place September 12-14, 2019 in Halifax, Canada, FIN Partners will see 100 projects from around the world being pitched and hopefully matched for future release.

Among the selected spotlight region producers/projects are Andrew Freedman and Samantha Corr: Venom Films – Ireland; Claire McCaughley: Treasure Entertainment – Ireland; Chris Patterson: Causeway Pictures – Northern Ireland; Solon Papadopoulos and Roy Boulter: Hurricane Films – England; Stella Nwimo: Boudica Entertainment – England; Alice Lusher and Catryn Ramasut: Ie Ie Productions Ltd. – Wales; Martin Gooch: Gothic Manor Ltd. – England; Arabella Page Croft: Black Camel Pictures – Scotland;  Trevite Willis: Southern Fried Filmworks – USA; Lisa Black and Scott Lukacs: Garnet Girl – USA.

“We are looking forward to another exciting year working with our spotlight regions,” says Morgan Salter, FIN Partners Manager. “We schedule 1,000 meetings every year between delegates and it’s always exciting to see co-production partnerships spark and flourish here in Halifax.”

Resource delegates attending FIN Partners are investors, buyers, financiers, sales agents, broadcasters, and distributors looking to find their next project from meetings with producers. These include AMC/Sundance TV, Bankside Films, Head Gear Films, Endemol Shine Entertainment, CBC, Protagonist Pictures, Eurimages, MGM, Apollo Media, Ingenious Media, Arclight Films, Carnaby International, Bell Media, Myriad Pictures, Corus Entertainment, Independent Production Fund, the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, among others.

In celebration of the spotlight focus, Film London is giving two Atlantic Canadian TV drama producers the chance to participate in a familiarization trip to London in December 2019. The participating producers will be selected by Helena Mackenzie, Film London’s Head of Inward Investment & Business Development during FIN Partners and announced at the annual Lobster Dinner by the Sea.

FIN Partners presents a best in class roster of officially selected projects from producers around the globe. To support the success of these projects, FIN Partners hosts an international senior level delegation of financiers, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents and funding agencies, looking to invest.

Last year marked the first of a two-year Spotlight on the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the USA. The market included established producers and buyers from 18 countries, seeking co-production and financing opportunities through nearly 1,000 pre-scheduled 1-2-1 meetings. Twenty-three projects in development were reported as directly benefiting from FIN Partners 2018.

Now in its 22nd year, FIN Partners is a one-of-a-kind co-production/co-financing market, providing a full agenda of 25-minute pre-scheduled 1-2-1 meetings with producers, investors, broadcasters, distributors and sales agents, as well as participation in investor and co-production focused roundtable sessions, cutting edge panels and visionary keynote speakers, networking events and cocktail receptions and the famous “Lobster Dinner by the Sea”. Returning to the market is Trans Atlantic Partners, an established training and networking programme for experienced film and TV producers from Europe, Canada and the USA.

The event’s intimate scale and two-day linear program is designed to provide unparalleled access to international co-production and co-financing possibilities. Part of the FIN Atlantic International Film Festival, the event takes place in the vibrant coastal city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
