Cartoon Forum an event focusing on pitching events for pre-selected TV projects which is currently underway in Toulouse, with a Spotlight dedicated to Irish animation.
There are nine Irish titles in the line-up for the forum, which is attended by international animation professionals from TV and new media industries. European broadcasters, distributors and investors also attend to preview the latest projects for television.
Irish participants include Shiela De Courcy of RTÉ, Sinead Lonergan and Eileen Bell of Enterprise Ireland, Andrew Fitzpatrick and Rhona O’Kelly of Monster Entertainment and Mary Callery and Emma Scott of the Irish Film Board.
Yesterday’s presentations included Salty Dog Pictures’ ‘The Mooneys’ and JAM Media’s ‘Snoozeville’. Kaveleer Productions presented ‘Alva & The Trolls’ earlier on today, followed by Giant Animation’s ‘Creepers’ and Treehouse Republic’s ‘I’ve Got a Time Travelling Monkey on my Back’ this afternoon. Additional Irish titles include Igloo Films production ‘Peek Zoo’ and Pink Kong Stuidos’ ‘Urban Tails’.
