Full list of Irish films now available on UPC My Prime

UPC’s My Prime service launched on March 19th
A diverse range of Irish films are available to view as part of My Prime, a new service from UPC. Through an agreement with Element Pictures Distribution, films funded by the Irish Film Board are included as part of the service, including award-winning dramas, comedies and documentaries.

The selection includes critically acclaimed films including ‘Pilgrim Hill’ directed by Gerard Barrett, who has also directed the upcoming film ‘Glassland’ starring Jack Reynor; ‘Five Minutes of Heaven’ starring Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt; and ‘This Must Be the Place’ starring Sean Penn. The first three films from acclaimed director Lenny Abrahamson, ‘Adam and Paul’, ‘Garage’ and ‘What Richard Did’ are also available to view as part of the service.

Meanwhile documentaries available to view include ‘The Yellow Bittern: The Life and Times of Liam Clancy’ ; ‘John Ford: Dreaming the Quiet Man’ which has recently been released on DVD, Blu Ray and VOD in the United States; and ‘Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God’, which was the winner of the Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking prize at the 2013 Emmy Awards.

Irish comedies available as part of the service include ‘A Film With Me in It’ starring Mark Doherty and Dylan Moran; ‘Zonad’ from ‘Once’ director John Carney; and ‘The Guard’ starring Brendan Gleeson, which broke box office records in 2011.

The full list of Irish films available as part of UPC My Prime are; 32A, A Film With Me In It, Adam and Paul, All Good Children, As If I Am Not There, Dark Touch, Death of a Superhero, Five Minutes of Heaven, Garage, His & Hers, John Ford: Dreaming The Quiet Man, Jump, Kisses, Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God, Parked, Pilgrim Hill, Sensation, Silence, The Runway, The Yellow Bittern – The Life and Times of Liam Clancy, This Must be the Place, Waveriders, What Richard Did, Wide Open Spaces, Zonad and The Guard.

My Prime is available to all Horizon customers within their bundle for no extra charge. Access to the My Prime content is available through on the On Demand area in Horizon. Customers who do not have Horizon may now upgrade free of charge or alternatively keep their existing digital box and avail of the service for an additional €5 per month.
