DocCelerator Galway
Creative Europe Desk Ireland MEDIA Office Galway and Paradiddle Pictures are now accepting documentary projects in development for the upcoming DocCelerator Galway.

It takes place as an online workshop on October 7th-8th, 2020. Deadline for applying is September 10th 2020.

DocCelerator Galway is an online documentary script and development program aimed at documentary makers looking for a clearer dramaturgical structure for their project currently in development.

As a participant of DocCelerator Galway you get detailed feedback on your current project in development as well as tools and methods for structuring your documentary story. These tools include how to define more solid narrative arcs, better structure the dramatic evolvement and build stronger character development.

Besides generating creative input, the workshop will save participants many hours of working and much money in production expenses. With the focused narrative construction gained during the workshop, hours of recordings not fitting to the film and many days of expensive editing will be saved. The essence of DocCelerator Galway is to invest in the development in order to save on the production.

The DocCelerator Galway program is for six selected filmmakers or teams with a project currently in development. It consists of a two-day online workshop with a number of plenary sessions, where the participants get comprehensive feedback on their projects. It will also include a number of exercises and individual feedback that the tutors provide to the participants, in order to make their documentary project advance in a more focused way.

The two-day online workshop will take place on October 7-8, 2020, 2020 with follow up mentorship in the following month.

In order to apply to DocCelerator Galway please send your project presentation including:
