Northern Ireland Screen Opens Call for Applications for its VFX Company Placement
19 Jun 2019 : News Desk
Northern Ireland Screen
Northern Ireland Screen is now accepting applications for its skills development programme, VFX 2019.

The programme is offered as part of its Company Placement Scheme and will provide a training opportunity in a post-production company for one person.

VFX 2019 is a paid placement scheme (NMW/NLW) and will run from August 2019 – 31st July 2020.  This is an initial 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension thereafter.

Where is it based?

The scheme will be based in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland and participants will be expected to base themselves in Northern Ireland for the duration of the scheme.

What are the priorities?

Applicants should be determined to have a career in the VFX industry, have a willingness to learn and self-motivation is crucial to this position.  Some previous experience with compositing packages would be desirable, but not essential.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 12 noon on Tuesday 2nd July 2019.
