IFTN recently caught up with Eurotek's MD, Kevin Moore, to find out more about the show they recently hosted at the RDS in Dublin.
Held at the end of August in the RDS, Eurotek Ireland and AVtek Solutions originally developed the concept of showcasing the latest technologies in their respective industries to a select group of clients. Once the target was set, three months of planning and preparation began to organise the event, which effectively became the biggest Audio-Visual communications showcase this year.
Kevin Moore, MD of Eurotek said, “Previous customers of both Eurotek & AVtek said they could not miss the opportunity to see “what's happening out there” especially in an industry that grows and changes as quick as time.”
Over 200 invited clients and guests attended the event. Feedback from the event was brilliant - “a phenomenal slice of magic”, “mind blowing” and “the future”. Part of the setup included a 13-meter curved LED screen.
Some of the displays and elements included in the show were part of a walk-through on how Eurotek’s technology impacts them on a daily basis. This included the latest in videoconferencing, collaborative learning and boardroom technologies as well as a home office space.
When clients reached the end of their guided tour, they were invited into the live event arena, where they were treated to a live, 5-minute technology show. The show was immersive and consisted of “high quality projection lighting, phenomenal sound and talented dancers to demonstrate the latest in Motion-Tracking technology”, according to Kevin.
