Ciaran Foy’s multi award-winning horror feature ‘Citadel’ will be released in US cinemas on November 09.

The feature - Foy’s first - has attracted huge international acclaim and awards at a host of festivals including PiFan in South Korea; SXSW in the US and at Switzerland's Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival and at the Galway Film Fleadh.

'Citadel’ is being distributed by Cinedigm with New Video set to release the feature on DVD in the US early next year.

The psychological horror film, an Irish-Scottish co-production from Dublin’s Blinder Films and Glasgow’s Sigma Films, stars Aneurin Barnard (We'll Take Manhattan) in the lead role of Tommy, alongside James Cosmo (Braveheart, Troy) and Wunmi Mosuka (I am Slave).

Katie Holly of Blinder co-produced alongside Brian Coffey of Sigma. Gillian Berrie, Kieron J. Walsh and David Mackenzie all executive produced.

As previously announced on IFTN, Films Distribution have secured the international rights to the feature.
